A rebrand with impact

Bounce recently completed a branding project for Photo Oxford Festival, with the aim of creating a bold and sophisticated visual identity that would resonate with the target audience. The project involved developing a comprehensive set of assets across all touchpoints, including digital and print materials.

To begin the project, Bounce collaborated closely with the festival organisers, as we have for the last few years, to gain a thorough understanding of their vision and goals for the event. Through this collaborative process, Bounce was able to develop a deep appreciation for the festival's focus on showcasing the best in contemporary photography.

The resulting visual identity was built around a striking colour palette, with rich, deep black and bold, vibrant orange used to create a strong sense of contrast and dynamism. The typography used throughout the branding was carefully chosen to complement the visual elements and evoke a sense of classic elegance and sophistication, and the modernisation of the logo to a stripped back wordmark oozes class. 

Bounce also developed a comprehensive set of marketing materials to support the festival, including a programme, social media graphics, and print materials such as posters and flyers. We created a poster design that was malleable enough to accommodate exhibition-specific posters all across the city. All of these materials were designed to be consistent with the overall branding and to provide a cohesive look across all assets, and were enshrined in a comprehensive brand guidelines.

Throughout the project, Bounce worked closely with Danielle, Alex, Hannah and the rest of the team to ensure that the branding was a true reflection of their vision and goals for the event. The result was a stunning visual identity that captured the essence of the festival and helped to create a memorable and successful event.
