We were thrilled to work with Cassie & Johnnie on the rebrand of their beautiful pub, and enjoyed the challenge of bringing a nautical theme to their new branding.
Since our first discussions it was clear that an anchor trademark was sought after, and that it was important to make a nod to the heritage of the site. We therefore incorporated hatching & styling inspired by the penmen of the 19th Century to accentuate the tradition of the pub, and to differentiate it from similar nautical inspired brands. A contemporary element is incorporated through the smooth vectored lines and abstract anchor shape, and the more modern typography & palette.
